Dr. Guo specializes in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, debt collection and restructuring, intellectual property, litigation and arbitration.
Dr. Guo provides legal service for multi-national corporations, domestic and foreign financial institutions and enterprises with domestic or foreign investment, covering areas from banking, trust, corporate governance and cross-border transactions. Dr. Guo has represented renowned domestic and overseas companies in project structuring, contract negotiation, transfer of company shares or assets, company restructuring and other transactions. Dr. Guo has particular expertise in banking related legal affairs, such as syndicated loans, venture capital, non-performing loans, secured transactions and project financing. He has successfully represented clients in a great number of complex and challenging legal proceedings.
Dr. Guo obtained LL.B. and LL.M. Degree of Economic Law from the China University of Political Science and Law; a LL.M. Degree in Comparative Business Law from the Bonn University, Germany; and a Ph.D. Degree from the Cologne University, Germany.
Dr. Guo used to work for the China University of Political Science and Law, the legal department of KRUPP AG and the German office of LINKLATERS & ALLIANCE.
